MHI is a Sydney based metal fabrication firm, specialising in Fibre Laser Cutting, Sheet Metal, Welding and Protective Coatings.
Josh began his career as a factory labourer before progressing to Trades Assistant at HMAS Kuttabul. After qualifying as a Boilermaker, he stepped into leadership roles, eventually becoming Production Manager at a laser cutting company where he strengthened his lean manufacturing expertise.
He later launched his own sheetmetal business, growing it from 4 to 25 staff across two factories.
Today, Josh leads with a focus on quality, growth, and building a strong team culture.
Kellie began her career in 1992 in administration, quickly advancing to Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, where she gained valuable insight into manufacturing operations. In 1998, she moved into sales as Business Development Manager, spending over 15 years building strong client relationships and driving growth.
She later managed a startup sheet metal business before stepping into her role as General Manager at Metallum Fabrication, where she continues to lead with hands-on experience across all areas of the business.
Kellie is also a passionate advocate for women in STEM and proudly supports Ronald McDonald House each year, giving back to the community alongside her team.
Kelly has been an integral part of our team for nearly four years, bringing a strong attention to detail and a genuine people-first approach to everything she does. She plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently - from overseeing finances to supporting our growing team and ensuring the day-to-day functions of the business stay on track.
Her reliability, care and consistency make her a trusted and valued member of the team.
Outside of work, Kelly is a proud mum of two and enjoys spending quality time with her family. We’re incredibly grateful for the knowledge, dedication and positive energy she brings to the business every day.
